Regina Gomide is considered the pioneer of modern textile arts in Brazil, in the context of Art Déco. For 17 years, she owned Regina Graz Industries with her husband John Graz and together they decorated the residences of Sao Paulo’s elite. Her tapestries such as this one, are extremely rare in both museums and private collections.
