An open-air art gallery
On the “River Day”, celebrated on November 24, 2020, the kids of the Souza Dantas Community carried out an expedition around the neighborhood. They started a sequence of activities Where they developed creativity and criticality through art.
Twenty participants received binoculars and were encouraged to observe their vicinity and portray, through drawings and paintings, the river they saw and how they would like it to be. On June 2, 2021, during the Environment Week, the paintings were displayed on a clothesline fixed next to the creek in the community, promoting the art of the little ones.
